In Loving Memory of Tatissa Zunguze

Her Life. Her Legacy. A movement of Hope

OUR STORY

From Loss to Legacy

From Grief to Action

The Tatissa Foundation was created in memory of Tatissa Zunguze, whose life and loss forever changed our family and inspired a commitment to help others.

Our experience taught us that suicide affects far more than one individual. It touches families, friends, workplaces, schools, and entire communities. It also taught us the importance of preparation, connection, and compassionate support.

Today, Tatissa’s legacy lives through our work to equip everyday people with suicide prevention skills, support those impacted by suicide loss, strengthen community partnerships, and help build communities where people know how to recognize when someone is struggling—and how to step in.

Turning Hope Into Action

Our work focuses on creating stronger, more connected communities through suicide prevention education, postvention support, peer connection, and community engagement.

LOSS Teams

We develop compassionate, community-based postvention support for individuals and families impacted by suicide loss across Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties.

03

Peer Support

We create opportunities for connection, shared understanding, and compassionate support that help reduce isolation and strengthen communities.

04

Youth & Community Engagement

We support youth development and community initiatives that foster belonging, resilience, connection, and opportunities to thrive.

POSTVENTION SUPPORT

No Family Should Face Suicide Loss Alone

The loss of a loved one to suicide can leave families facing overwhelming grief, questions, and uncertainty.

Our LOSS Teams provide compassionate, community-based support to individuals and families following a suicide loss—offering connection, resources, and the reassurance that they do not have to navigate the journey alone.

Compassion. Connection. Support when it matters most
